About Kinsen Noodles and Bar

Kinsen Noodles & Bar was founded on the perceived notion that Uptown was in need of an authentic noodle shop. Noodles are a common element in cuisines all over the world and their popularity is justly founded – they are hearty, light, go well with spice, sweetness, can warm you up, or cool you down.

Kinsen Noodles & Bar also saw a need for an Asian restaurant that was more in tune to the needs of the Uptown community. We are the only Asian restaurant in Uptown to serve all-natural meats from local farms and we clearly designate vegan/vegetarian and gluten-free options on our menu. We are also proud to support our other local vendors, using coffee from Bull Run Roasting company and ice cream from Sebastian Joe’s, both located in Minneapolis.
